How To: Ribbing

Ribbing is commonly used when knitting sleeves or hats to prevent your fabric from curling and to give it some stretch! To create ribbing, you will alternate knit and purl stitches.  The key is to bring the working yarn behind the right needle when knitting and in front of the right needle when purling.
